Uncovered news discovered the full list of 2023 cutoff points for all Courses at Makerere,as well as the International Qualifications Admission List.
Following the release today of Makerere University admission lists for undergraduate private schemes, the office of the academic registrar has in effect released the cut-off points for the academic programs offered at the institution.
These cut-offs, also known as ‘weights, are arrived at as a result of consideration of so many factors, including the general UACE performance of the students in that particular year and the number of applications received per course.
The AR at Makerere then draws a line on the number of applicants that can be received for particular academic programs.
Freshmen are encouraged to apply for the academic year program of 2023–2024 with their academic documents from UACE and UCE.
Cutoffs often help those who may need to appeal in the event that they miss out on admissions or even courses. The cutoffs serve as a basis.
