Police in Rubanda District is hunting for an 18 year old man who killed a 11 year old boy over a cob of maize.

The killed boy has been identified as Arineitwe Devis who has been a herdsman in that village whereas the hunted suspect is  Neserasi Turyatemba.

We have been told that the gentleman  ran away from the village and he is hiding himself.

The suspect and killed boy have been residents of Rushunga village, Nyarurambi Parish, Muko sub county, Rubanda District.

A close friend to the late known as James Ainebyona told us that “The deceased was however taken to Muko Health Centre IV where was given first aid and went back home, however, 6th May 2023, he was taken for review at the Health Centre, but was and today morning found dead in his bed”. May his Soul Rest in Peace 😭😭😭😭 and may the lord forgive him on what went wrong.

Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate told uncovered reporters that “It is alleged that on 3rd May 2023, the deceased in the company of Joshua and Bruno both herds boys stole roasted maize from the suspect and he got the deceased and assaulted him.”.

He went on to advise the young youth to work hard rather than stealing because it will end their lives easily

Yesterday evening (Saturday, 6th May 2023)at around 9:20pm(East African Time), the blogger known as Isma olaxes was shot by unknown gunmen in those areas of Kyanja.

Its now on record that killing in Uganda is on a high rate in a way that we have lost many people this week who are killed by when they are innocent.
