Manchester United player Mason Greenwood releases his first statement as he arrives at Getafe on loan to restart his career.
After his 21-year-old suspension of 18 months at United following allegations of domestic violence and assaults on his partner, initially in January,
A decision for his transfer to Getafe followed suit, evolving from mass pressure from fans to let him go.
Reports hinted Erik Ten Hag was willing to reinstall Mason back in his squad; however, a decision from United authorities saw him depart from Old Trafford for Getafe.
Richard Arnold told uncoveredug news reporters that “Greenwood’s suspension came following the release of photos and videos of alleged domestic violence against his partner online”.
Although United failed to get a permanent transfer deal from the club for Mason, Getafe has opened up the opportunity for the player to rekindle his career with the club until January’s break clause.
