News reaching our journalist confirms that Sudhir Ruparelia’s son, Rajiv Ruparelia, died in an accident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, May 3, 2025.
The accident occurred at 1:54 AM; a fatal crash involving a Nissan GTR, registration number UAT 638L, got destroyed, leaving one person dead. Additionally, the dead has been known as Rajiv Ruparelia.
We were told that the vehicle was reportedly traveling from Kajjansi towards Munyonyo. It lost control near the roundabout section of the flyover at Busabala in Makindye-Ssabagabo, Wakiso District.

Preliminary investigations suggest the car collided with temporary pavements installed at the site before overturning and bursting into flames.
Sudhir Ruparelia’s son, Rajiv Ruparelia, died instantly at the scene due to the severity of the crash of the vehicle.
Authorities have yet to determine the accident’s cause; investigations are ongoing to establish the facts.

The tragic incident underscores the importance of road safety, particularly around construction and temporary traffic installations. More details will be shared as investigations progress and findings are available to the public.
