Brighton, through Bajan Gruda, delivered a stunning blow to Manchester City at the AMEX Stadium on Sunday, securing a 2-1 victory in a dramatic encounter.
City began the match, dominating possession early on, and Haaland finally broke the deadlock on his fifth attempt, scoring in his 100th Premier League appearance.
The Norwegian star showed his relentless determination, but Brighton goalkeeper Verbruggen kept the visitors at bay with a string of fine saves. Despite City’s control, Brighton remained dangerous, with Mitoma and Minteh causing constant problems on the flanks.
