The Ministry of Internal Affairs Headquarters (HQ) is currently experiencing a temporary breakdown of internet and internet-based services affecting some passport and visa-related services.
According to the Ministry’s press statement issued today, 14th August, 2025, the temporary breakdown is due to a fiber cut.
“Passport applicants are temporarily unable to access the Passport portal or obtain services for personalization/interviews,” reads the statement in part.
Other services affected include work permits and student passes, although these can be accessed at other regional offices across the country.
